Fitness Friday- 5 tips to have a healthy weekend.

  • Strive for at least 150 minutes of exercise per week. This can be broken down to a quik 30 minutes of exercise per day. Could be walking, swimming or anything that gets your heart rate up!
  • Cut your coffee calories. Over this weekend, try to skip that morning cup of coffee and break that weekly cycle.
  • Keep a fitness journal. Fitness journals are extremly benefitical when kept up with. You can track your food, weight, etc for the day and track your progress.
  • Pay attention to your thoughts. Your thoughts are the biggest influnce on your actions. Watch and listen to your thoughts and fight that urge.
  • Eat the rainbow.. and no we don’t mean Skittles. Make sure to eat your greens at every meal, and incorperate any other color you can!
