Pelvic pain refers to pain in the pelvic region that can be due to several causes. This could be related to reproductive organs, the bladder, the lower abdominal wall and corresponding nerve and muscle groups and there could be various other factors contributing to it. Due to the complexity of these anatomic structures, it is very important to identify the actual cause of the pain and then treat it.
