Discs are composed of an outer layer. The tough outer layer of the disc can bulge or herniated when it is compromised. In this case either the outer layer pushes outward or the soft inner layer leaks out. We can provide an epidural injection to relieve cervical pain associated with a herniated disc. The goal is to relieve neck pain and pain that radiates into the shoulders, upper back and arms.
